On October 28, 1987, five national ministries and commissions—including the State Planning Commission, State Commission for Restructuring the Economic System, Ministry of Labor and Personnel, China Construction Bank, and State Administration for Industry and Commerce—jointly issued the Notice on Approving the First Batch of Pilot Enterprises for Lubuge Project Management Experience (hereinafter referred to as the Notice ). As one of the first 18 pilot enterprises, China Construction Technology Development Company was established on December 17 of the same year and later renamed China Construction Technology Development Corporation . In 2003, the company completed its restructuring and was officially renamed China Building Technology Group Corporation (CBTGC).
